Le Marianne’s neighbourhood
NEAR THE HOTEL
Le Marianne’s location is one of enviable calm in the heart of cosmopolitan Champs-Elysées, Set back slightly from the constant hustle and bustle of the avenue, rue Paul Baudry is named for, and pays homage to, the talented artist to whom we owe the magnificent decor of the Opéra Garnier in 1875.
Le Marianne places you in the very epicenter of architectural Paris : between the Arc du Triomphe and the Place de la Concorde, and very close to the luxurious temptations offered by the rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré and the Avenue Montaigne. You are also near several Parisian centers of culture : the Grand-Palais with its major exhibitions, the discreet Orangerie with its impressionist masterpieces, the Galerie du Jeu de Paume with its exhibitions of contemporary photography. Music lovers face an embarrassment of riches, between the concert halls of the Salle Pleyel and the Salle Gaveau, the Theatre des Champs-Elysées and of course the Opéra Garnier. Foodies will appreciate the many starred restaurants nearby, headed by internationally acclaimed chefs.
And while you may be hard-pressed to leave the many temptations around Le Marianne behind, you have easy access to the main business centers : La Défense and the Palais des Congrès are a few minutes away ; public transportation is available within steps of the hotel. Even closer by are the offices of several large international law firms and major art auction houses.
